Dorothy Martinez’s talent and dedication helped her quickly climb the ranks in the Hilton Winnipeg’s kitchen, where she is now Chef De Partie. A two-time employee of the month, Dorothy’s exceptional skills have been sought out by other hotels in the Westmont portfolio that look to her for training. She has adeptly cooked and served during the pandemic and for refugees/evacuees, managing many dietary needs simultaneously. Dorothy plans to open her own bakery in the future.

Lidia Selles’ welcoming personality and commitment to ensuring an outstanding experience for every guest make her an integral part of the Fort Garry Hotel team. As the hotel’s Front Desk Supervisor, Lidia expertly solves guest problems, trains new employees, and acts as an excellent ambassador for the Fort Garry Hotel and Manitoba’s tourism industry. She is a strong, reliable, and inspiring leader who steps up during challenging situations with patience and professionalism every time.

Camila quickly rose as a leader at the Inn at The Forks, becoming one of the youngest Sales Managers in the company’s history. Her commitment to providing detailed information, outstanding event planning and coordination, and exceptional guest service is commendable. She's also a passionate advocate for Winnipeg. Camila, an honors graduate from Red River College Polytechnic's Hotel and Restaurant Management Program with a gold medal, was recognized as the CEM Co-op Student of the Year in 2021.

Breanna Rae successfully fosters a vibrant community spirit and a thriving tourism industry with her unwavering passion and dedication in her role as Recreation Director and Tourism Representative of the RM of Coldwell. Her exceptional leadership has been instrumental in offering diverse experiences that enrich lives and encourage growth, such as the Town of Lundar’s Ice Fishing Derby, the Santa Claus parade and toy drive, Lundar Beach Walking Trail enhancements, and a skate park and multi-sport pad.

Brenna Philp plays a pivotal role in driving tourism development and growth as the Rural Municipality Recreation Manager in the RM of St. Clements, spearheading cultural festivals, outdoor recreational events and seasonal celebrations. Her dedication to creating a memorable and enriching experience for tourists and her collaboration with local stakeholders helps position the municipality as a desirable destination, benefiting both the local community and the broader tourism industry in Manitoba.

Kaelyn Delaurier joined Daly House Museum in 2022. Her role as the museum's curatorial assistant enabled the museum to create new programs–Daly After Dark, a sold out event, and A Victorian Christmas-–for the local community to enjoy. Kaelyn is currently employed at Daly House as the Exhibit Assistant and is working on creating the exhibit from her research on local musicians which is scheduled to open in 2024.
