The new Manitoba Inspiration Guide is here!
Our latest Inspiration Guide is filled with trip ideas, partner features, insider tips and more.
Travel Manitoba’s new 2026/2027 Inspiration Guide is now available, and is being widely distributed through direct mail, our Travel Manitoba Visitor Information Centre at The Forks, online and more. This full-colour publication provides new and returning visitors with an essential trip-planning resource showcasing the depth and diversity of Manitoba’s tourism industry, identifying countless ways to explore the province and helping them find experiences that align with their interests.
The guide highlights iconic and bucket-list experiences, new attractions, insider tips and local recommendations, plus valuable information on accessible attractions, offers from tourism partners and more. Each year, tourism operators, accommodations and businesses have the opportunity to participate in the Inspiration Guide through paid partnerships, reinforcing the publication’s role as a key marketing tool for Manitoba’s tourism industry.
A More Sustainable Publication
This year, we’ve produced an Inspiration Guide that spans both 2026 and 2027 – a format that focuses on long-term value and extends the guide’s shelf life and impact through aspirational, timeless content. Maintaining our inventory and reach over two years will strengthen our distribution and provide extended value to our partners while being more sustainable.
A Breathtaking Cover
This year’s Inspiration Guide cover features a stunning fall image of one of the Caddy Lake rock tunnels in Whiteshell Provincial Park, reflecting Manitoba’s beauty and ability to deliver inspiring, authentic experiences in every season. The photograph was taken by Tim Loewen of Altona, who enjoys exploring the province and capturing photos of Manitoba’s “wide-open spaces, diverse landscapes and hidden gems” which he shares on his website, chasingsunsets.co.
Strategic Distribution and Reach
The guide has been distributed to 180,000 households across Manitoba, Saskatchewan and Northwest Ontario, with additional circulation through copies inserted in the Fargo Forum and Grand Forks Herald newspapers in North Dakota. Through this distribution along with partnerships with our Visitor Services Network, regional tourism organizations and Red River Co-op, the guide is reaching a wide audience of Manitobans and our neighbours.
The Inspiration Guide’s pages feature QR codes and quick links that connect readers to additional content and resources on partner websites and to up-to-date information on travelmanitoba.com. It also provides details on how to connect with travel counsellors at our Visitor Information Centres at The Forks or in Emerson, or through GuideGeek – our AI-powered personal travel assistant, available 24/7 in over 40 languages – to help visitors plan their Manitoba adventure.
