Rendez-vous Canada 2025: Welcoming the World to Manitoba
From May 27 to 30, Travel Manitoba and Tourism Winnipeg will welcome the world to Winnipeg for Rendez-vous Canada (RVC) 2025, the nation’s premier travel trade show. This flagship event, held each year by Destination Canada and the Tourism Industry Association of Canada (TIAC), brings together international travel buyers with Canadian tourism businesses in a marketplace-style event.
Hosting this event in Winnipeg puts a spotlight on Manitoba’s unique travel experiences and world-class hospitality while giving our Winnipeg and Manitoba operators unparalleled networking opportunities.
RVC is expected to generate millions in tourism revenue, with international buyers experiencing firsthand what Manitoba has to offer and secure future travel bookings. When it was held in Edmonton last year, the event generated $5 million in direct and indirect revenue for the city with over $90 million in business conducted during the trade show.
From pre-event familiarization (FAM) tours to business meetings on the trade show floor, our industry will be working hard to grow visitation and visitor spending in Winnipeg and throughout the province. By engaging with global travel media, we’ll also gain valuable exposure, ensuring Manitoba remains a top-of-mind destination for international visitors.

Showcasing Manitoba’s Best
Over several days, delegates will participate in pre-scheduled business appointments, explore Winnipeg and Manitoba’s top attractions and experience signature events that highlight our city and province’s distinct cultures, attractions and natural beauty.
FAM Tours (May 22 - 26): To maximize the impact of RVC, international buyers and media will embark on customized FAM tours across the province before the trade show begins. These tours will immerse visitors in some of Winnipeg and Manitoba’s top tourism experiences, including authentic Indigenous experiences, outdoor adventure, wildlife encounters, culinary delights and historical attractions. The goal is to create lasting impressions and inspire future bookings.
City Tours & Opening Night (May 27): The day before the trade show begins, delegates will explore Winnipeg through curated city tours featuring must-visit locations including The Forks, the Canadian Museum for Human Rights and the Exchange District. The evening’s opening night at Assiniboine Park Zoo and The Leaf will set the stage for networking, featuring Manitoba-inspired food, live entertainment and a stunning venue that embodies our province’s natural beauty.
Host Night (May 29): One of the most anticipated events of RVC 2025 is host night at the Canadian Museum for Human Rights. Delegates will enjoy an immersive experience featuring Manitoba-inspired cuisine and entertainment that reflects the diverse landscapes and communities of our province.

The Role of Manitoba’s Tourism Industry
Hosting RVC 2025 is a collaborative effort, and the participation of Manitoba’s tourism industry is key to its success. From providing top-tier experiences on FAM tours to engaging with buyers and media, industry members play a vital role in positioning Manitoba as a must-visit destination.
And as RVC 2025 approaches, we’re committed to making this event a milestone moment for Manitoba. By highlighting our tourism assets, fostering new business relationships and leveraging the global attention that RVC brings, the event will create long-term benefits for Winnipeg, Manitoba and our tourism industry.
