It’s an economic multiplier, contributing $1.82 billion in visitor spending to Manitoba’s economy in 2023 alone. That spending generated $373 million in provincial tax revenue, funding initiatives that enrich our daily lives. That’s money that could be used to cover the cost of resurfacing highways from Winnipeg to Dauphin or fund Manitoba’s school nutrition program at its current level for the next 10 years!
